Premium CBCT image quality
The imaging units is designed to prevent human errors in CBCT imaging. The patented SCARA (Selectively Compliant Articulated Robot Arm) technology guarantees an anatomically accurate imaging geometry. This allows for accurate and reliable image volume positioning and diameter adjustment. An intelligent ARA™ algorithm removes metal artefacts caused by metal restorations and root fillings efficiently and reliably for clarity of images.
Its AINO™ algorithm achieves noise-free images without losing valuable details. Using small voxel sizes allows lower radiation exposure to patient and reducing noise in image quality.

All Planmeca 3D imaging units has the proprietary Planmeca Ultra Low Dose™ imaging protocol. This means that 3D imaging are taken at even lower patient radiation dose than standard 2D panoramic imaging.
Planmeca proprietary imaging protocol is the world’s leading method for acquiring 3D dental images at low effective patient doses. Based on intelligent 3D algorithms, this system lower effective patient doses significantly without a statistical reduction in image quality to adhere and acheive the ALARA principle (As Low As Reasonably Achievable).

Planmeca Romexis® provides a tools for 2D and 3D imaging used at BIDH Sukhumvit Dental Hospital. With digital CT Scan technologies, your images appear on screen immediately without any wait time. This enables quick and smooth diagnoses and treatment planning shortening wait time and appointment visit times.
As Romexis is a networked software platform, all images and treatment plans are available on different workstations immediately. When colloborating work between specialists, images may be shared and consulted instantly. Accountability and security within its software system on authorisation and logs are consistently track to keep your information private.
