Step 1 : Planning and Pre-orthodontic Treatments

Upon you’re decision to start clear braces orthodontic treatment, your dentist Digital panoramic and cephalometric x-ray images are taken. A study model is also made for treatment planning.

Any prior dental treatments such as tooth removal, teeth cleaning, scaling, polishing or dental fillings is cleared to the placement of clear braces.

Step 2 : Placement of Self-ligating Braces

Step 3 : Monthly Adjustments Visits

Attending your monthly adjustments with your orthodontist is important. Your orthodontist checks your progress and changes the arch wire periodically throughout your treatment. The slight tension from the arch wire pushes and pulls your teeth into alignment, reshaping the sockets that hold them in place.

Monthly visits checks are done around every 6 to 8 weeks depending on the type of speed braces you have opted for.

Step 4 : Removal of brackets & Retainers

After teeth has shifted into position at the end of your orthodontic treatment, your orthodontist takes a set of panoramic and cephalometric x-rays and removes the self-ligating brackets over teeth.

Your dentist takes a teeth impression to have retainers made. Wear the retainers continuously and consistently as instructed to maintain teeth positioning.
