Step 3 : Monthly Adjustments Visits

Attending your monthly adjustments with your orthodontist is important. Your orthodontist checks your progress and changes the arch wire periodically throughout your treatment. Monthly visits checks are done around every 6 to 8 weeks depending on the type of speed braces you have opted for.

Step 4 : Removal of Brackets & Retainers

After teeth has shifted into position at the end of your orthodontic treatment, your orthodontist takes a set of panoramic and cephalometric x-rays and removes the self-ligating brackets over teeth.

Your dentist takes a teeth impression to have retainers made. Wear the retainers continuously and consistently as instructed to maintain teeth positioning.

Speed braces may enable faster  visits due to quicker monthly adjustment without the need to change o-rings.
